GW2 Wintersday Giveaway Week 1

I already hinted about our Wintersday Giveaways yesterday. We will have one Giveaway every week – starting on every Tuesday. Each week, there will be something different that you can win. You can have a look at the image above to guess what else will be given away here in the upcoming weeks… ;) Please note: The llama on the left is just a decoration suggestion. Decorations seen on the picture like red noses or antlers do not belong to the llama in question and will not be delivered with it (you know, should we give one away… in the upcoming weeks…).

Back to this week’s giveaway: We have two Guild Wars 2 t-shirts. One is size “L” and the other is “XL”.  When leaving a comment, please tell us if you want to get into the drawing for the size “L” or the size “XL” t-shirt. Unfortunately, there are no other sizes. As you can see on the right, the t-shirt is grey with the Guild Wars 2 logo on it. The back is simply grey with nothing on it, I think. So, it’s a very simple but cool shirt!

Please read the following rules carefully to see what you need to do in order to enter our giveaway and have a chance of winning one of the t-shirts!

1. We want you to comment, say if you want to win the size “L” or the size “XL” t-shirt and answer one simple question (a hint: Others may have already commented before you, so if you don’t know the answer, scrolling to the comments may help you out.):

Which profession in Guild Wars 2 can use a pistol, but cannot dual-wield that weapon?

2. Leave a valid email address when commenting. It will only be used by us for contacting the winner and nothing else! Enter said email address into the “email” field, do not add it to the comment field as that one is public!

3. From all replies, we will randomly choose one winner for the “L” shirt and one winner for the “XL” shirt.

4. The winners will be contacted by email. Please reply within 14 days and give us your real life address, so we can send the t-shirt to you. Do NOT leave it in the comment field! If you do not reply within 14 days, we may choose another winner. The t-shirts may not be sent this year. This depends on when I can get to the post office, as I would like to avoid sending the t-shirts in the middle of the Christmas chaos as I’m always worried our prizes may get lost in the mail…

5. One entry per person! We reserve the right to exclude entries when we think you’re trying to cheat by entering multiple times. Stay fair, please. :)

6. No debating about the outcome! We will draw randomly and everybody has a chance of winning. :)

7. The giveaway is open for participants until Sunday, December 14, 2014, 22 pm Berlin Time (CET).

8. Last but not least, a word of warning: We have probably all made our experiences with “snail mail” and lost parcels before. We really hope you will receive your t-shirt and the post behaves, but we can’t guarantee it. So far, each of the things we have sent because of our giveaways have reached their destination, though. *knocks on wood*

Ich habe gestern schon unsere Wintertag Giveaways angekündigt. Es wird jetzt bis Weihnachten jeden Dienstag ein Giveaway starten. Jede Woche wird es etwas anderes zu gewinnen geben. Auf dem Bild oben kann man ja ein bisschen was erraten, was noch kommen könnte. Eine Warnung aber gleich: Das Lama links ist so nur ein Dekorationsvorschlag! Die abgebildete Dekoration wie die rote Nase ist im Lieferumfang nicht enthalten… also, falls es denn mal ein Mini-Lama hier zu gewinnen geben sollte… ;)

Zurück zum Giveaway für diese Woche: Zwei Guild Wars 2 T-Shirts könnt ihr gewinnen. Eins davon ist Größe “L”, das andere ist Größe “XL”. Wenn ihr kommentiert, gebt bitte an, ob ihr L oder XL gewinnen möchtet! Leider haben wir keine anderen Größen als diese beiden. Wie ihr auf den Bildern sehen könnt, sind das die grauen T-Shirts, die vorne das Logo in weiß drauf haben. Die Rückseite hat keinen Druck. Sehr einfach gestaltet, was es aber meiner Meinung nach umso schicker macht. Ich selbst trage meins (in Größe L – viel zu groß) als Schlafanzug-Ersatz. Auch nach zig Mal waschen ist der Aufdruck noch wie am ersten Tag!

Bevor ihr am Giveaway teilnehmt, lest euch bitte die folgenden Regeln genau durch!

1. Bitte gebt in eurem Kommentar an, ob ihr Größe L oder Größe XL gewinnen möchtet. Beantwortet außerdem folgende Frage (Hinweis: Wenn ihr die Antwort nicht wisst, scrollt runter zu den Kommentaren. Vielleicht hat jemand vor euch die Frage schon beantwortet):

Welche Klasse in Guild Wars 2 kann eine Pistole benutzen, kann diese aber nicht beidhändig feuern (“dual-wielden”)?

2. Hinterlasst eine gültige E-Mail-Adresse. Tut dies aber bitte nicht im Textfeld des Kommentars, sondern in dem dafür vorgesehenen Feld. So kann keiner außer euch und uns die E-Mail-Adresse sehen.

3. Von allen richtigen Antworten werden wir zufällig je einen Gewinner für Größe L und einen für XL auswählen.

4. Die Gewinner werden per E-Mail angeschrieben. Antwortet bitte innerhalb von 14 Tagen und gebt uns eure Adresse, damit wir das T-Shirt zuschicken können. Schreibt bitte auch nicht eure Adresse in das Kommentarfeld. Wenn ihr nicht innerhalb der 14 Tage antwortet, kann es sein, dass wir einen anderen Gewinner auswählen. Die T-Shirts werden eventuell nicht mehr dieses Jahr in die Post gehen. Das ist davon abhängig, wann ich zur Post komme. Ich umgehe gerne das Weihnachtschaos mit den Gewinnen – wobei ein Zusenden innerhalb Deutschlands wohl eher unproblematisch sein wird.

5. Jeder Person kann nur einmal an diesem Giveaway (für diese Woche!) teilnehmen! Wir behalten uns vor, Personen, von denen wir denken, dass sie mehrmals teilnehmen wollen, vom Giveaway auszuschließen. Bleibt bitte fair. :)

6. Es gibt keine Diskussion über den Ausgang. Wir werden zufällig ziehen und jeder hat die gleiche Chance zu gewinnen.

7. Das Giveaway ist geöffnet für die Teilnahme bis zum Sonntag, den 14. Dezember 2014, 22 Uhr unsere (deutsche) Zeit.

8. Zum Schluss noch eine Warnung: Wir kennen ja alle die Post. Da kann auch mal was verloren gehen. Bisher kamen alle unsere Gewinne bei den Gewinnern an… *klopf auf Holz* – Aber man kann nie sicher sein und es gibt daher keine Garantie, dass die Post keinen Mist baut.
