What a nice surprise to wake up to this morning: Trion is giving every Rift account a free gift, provided you log in to the game today.
“Starting on April 19 at 12:01am PDT, you’ll find a special gift in your Claims section at the RIFT Store. […] You’ve got to claim your Gift of Spring by 11:59pm PDT on April 20, however, or it will disappear forever.”
Make sure you claim this gift with your main character, since it includes 1 million PA XP (which is granted automatically as soon as you open the gift). The costume bundle is also soulbound.
Of course, I was not lucky enough to get a squirrel mount. But I did get the Crimson Gothic Bundle which usually costs 1450 credits in the store. I think that’s a very generous gift and it actually is a bundle I’d been thinking about getting before! They still got a few credits from me, though, as I needed another wardrobe slot to equip those items. My other cosmetic slots are already full. ;)
