Terraria giveaway!

This is my 100th posting for this blog! *throws confetti* And with that, I wanted to do something special. I want to give away one code for Terraria! This is a code I bought on Steam, some time ago. It’s unused, of course. ;) In order to receive this code, it’ll be best/easiest if you give me your email address (I just thought I should mention this first in case you don’t want to because then you can stop reading now. ;) I promise, as always, not to use your email address for anything else but this giveaway!).

Let’s get to the important part: What do you have to do in order to win this code? I quite enjoy playing Terraria, especially as it runs smoothly on my little notebook. Whenever I play the game, though, my earworm (a catchy tune in German) starts singing this song. This remix is also quite catchy. :) And it fits to the game! As I’ve recently written about soundtracks and since I always have this one song up there in my head when playing Terraria, I thought this topic fits quite well: So, comment and tell me which “silly*” song you connect to your favourite PC game! And tell us why, if you like.

*”silly” is subject to your own interpretation, of course. ;)

Additional rules:

1. Leave a valid email address (doesn’t have to be the one you use for Steam) when commenting. As said above: it will only be used by us for contacting the winner and nothing else! The best way to do that is to enter said email address into the “email” field. We can see that address but nobody else will be able to see it (if you instead put it into the body of your comment, everybody will see it)!

2. From all answers, we will randomly draw the winner.

3. We will then contact the winner first to make sure that their email address is valid and once you’ve replied, you will get your code.

4. One entry per person (IP addresses are always logged by wordpress.com when somebody comments)!

5. No debating about the outcome! We will draw randomly and everybody who comments with a silly song has the same chance of winning. :)

6. The Giveaway is open for comments/participants until Sunday, February 5, 2012, 3pm Berlin Time (we’re UTC +1). That is 9am EST (UTC -5). Or 2pm UTC. – Time zones are giving me headaches!

(People commenting on our blog for the first time won’t see their comment appear immediately. We’re approving them manually.)

  1. Sting’s Fortress Around Your Heart always reminds me of Age of Empires (it was a CD I had in the CD-ROM and the game seems to like that specific track). It didn’t help when the computer rushes me with a bunch of catapults and tears down my “fortress”

    1. I like playing Kirby 64 final boss music while watching someone fight the wall of flesh and pretending that I’m controlling the character :)

But it doesn’t feel correct. So I want the game instead of pretending to control a character that’s on a video.

          1. Yep, it sucks that this is the only way to make sure you’re two different people. Can you maybe “prove” it somehow? Two different Facebook pages or Google+ pages or I don’t know… something like that. ;)

  4. I like to play guns n roses during any boss battles……

And relaxation songs for relaxing games. That is, games that aren’t exciting and make your heart rate go faster.
