Simple yet functional UIs are amazing and oh so important, especially for PvP and RvR. It’s too bad that it’s hardly ever perfect. :(

um yea the reason why its drawing you in is because you are atuned to how good the rvr pvp would be with the simple interface you have. i experienced the same thing. the RvR pvp in this game is robably the best in mmos right now. yes, better than gw2 and far better than warhammer.

No, but if you look at the collectibles tab, you see them all as they appeared with one of the patches when the hippo got introduced. :)

And to answer your question, my guess is that it is a cat conspiracy. Those felines are pretty devious and capable of anything to get ahead in life!

There’ll be the white kitten, the mini moa and the black bear baby. No puppy in sight. :(

I don’t really get why there are so few dog minis in MMOs but so many cats. I mean, if you look outside, which pet do people take with them wherever they go? It’s certainly not their cat. ;)

I am not a fan of those kind of sales either but I still end up getting both minis. What can I say? I am a collector of them! Or at least I try to be. >_<

I just hope that one of the next two will be some sort of canine… There just seems to have a bias towards felines in the mini department!

Although I agree that an adult lion would be cool. Maybe as a new ranger pet. :)

One word of warning: Independence is a really old server, so that’s why it was full. Pristine and Release are newer servers. Those can’t be travelled to from the old servers (e.g., Independence, Exodus, Deliverance). If you are on the old servers, then you can travel between them. So, basically two server clusters, I guess.

I’ve also read that for some people with simulation sickness, it helps to have a dot in the middle of their screen. Something as an orientation. I haven’t tried that yet. Lots of light does help me, though.

Simulation sickness… so *that* explains why I always feel terrible after playing Bioshock on the PS3!

Amazing 10/10 post! I agree with Wyzim, I felt like I was playing along with you. I’ll have to add this game to my ever growing list of games to try :)
