Mystic Spiral (a guild on EU-Aurora Glade) is organizing a charity event. It will take place tomorrow, December 22.
What is MYST-a-thon?
The MYSTathon is a 24 hour game-a-thon with the main aim of raising money for charity. We couldn’t think of a better way to do it than having fun playing the games we love.
They’re going to be playing DOTA 2 as well as Guild Wars 2 for 24 hours (starting at 10am GMT). Being a charity event, they’re asking for donations and everybody who donates at least $10 can win prizes! There’s Guild Wars 2 stuff like the game itself, an Eir SteelSeries mousepad and lots more, DOTA 2 games, and mixed other things like Trine 1.
The donations will be for Child’s Play making children’s time at hospitals more fun with games to play.
You can find more information and the schedule of who’s going to play what and when on Mystathon’s website. Of course, there’ll be streams so you can watch them play while you consider making a donation! ;) Or just watch and cheer them on!
