So, it’s technically not bookahneer’s first anniversary himself. Vekk is a lot older and “the bookahneer” was introduced a lot later. But we just realised that we started blogging with Nerdy Bookahs exactly one year ago!
*throws confetti*
And now, look at my first posting. Ok ok, maybe the second one as that actually has substance. ;) This was also when I was in the middle of studying for my diploma exams. I ended up buying Rift as a treat to play between exams. Worked very well. :)
Anyway, thanks to all our readers (especially those non-lurking ones who comment and show us that they’re not just Google’s bots skimming the pages ^^) and here’s to a lot more blog posts at Nerdy Bookahs!

I’ve been reading it recently and must say it is quite entertaining. In fact your posts have been making me more excited about Guild Wars 2 the FAQ about the game cleared up some questions I had. Here is looking for another year of great posts! :)

The digital, digital deluxe, and collector’s editions will be available for pre-order purchase starting April 10th. Mrs, ArcherAvatar says I’m only allowed to have one 10′ figurine of Rytlock :-(>
Looks like 1x CE, and at least 1x DD purchase initially here (although I’m really tempted to just go ahead and get 2x DD copies right away for the extra character slots, and account goodies.)
How’s that for an anniversary present?!? Not too shabby…

But the price. The priiiiice! *insert dramatic sigh* I’m not happy at all with the price and the time-limited digital items and the lack of a real (cloth) map (they never said they’d add that to the CE, I just like having them ^^). I’ll still get the CE, though, as bookahnerk had previously promised to gift it to me. :oD
With the price being as it is, I really do hope I won’t feel the need to buy anything else in their shop for the first few months of playing the game. At this point, it’s probably very good that I have 4 classes that I’m very interested in while the other classes can wait a bit because I won’t have to buy character slots immediately. ;)
